The health of Horwood & James employees, clients and the wider community is our primary concern. We are closely monitoring the development of the virus and following Government guidance for business.
The Partners and staff of Horwood & James are now partly based at our 7 Temple Square office and partly working remotely. Office-based lawyers and staff are working a shift pattern between 7am & 7.15pm to maintain safe distancing. All of our lawyers are fully equipped to deal with new and existing matters throughout this unprecedented period.
During our normal office hours (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm), we can be contacted on the usual telephone number and calls are transferred to each of our lawyers wherever they are working.
We will still be holding meetings which can be conducted via video conferencing software such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom & FaceTime.
If a face to face meeting is absolutely essential & there is no reasonable alternative available please contact your lawyer who will consult the partner in charge of the department.
While we continue to serve our clients during this time, we cannot provide any assurances of uninterrupted service caused by the involvement of third parties such as banks, the court and law firms acting for other parties in matters.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will update this statement when necessary.
